SIMPLE TO MEASURE Measure weight-bearing hoof surface after a fresh time. Stay within the size ranges below (allowance for growth between regular trims have been figured in). Measure length of each hoof from buttress to toe (do not include heel bulbs).
LENGTH OF HOOF
4 to 4 1/4 inches = Size 0
4 5/16 to 4 9/16 inches = Size 1
4 5/8 to 4 7/8 inches = Size 2
4 15/16 to 5 3/16 inches = Size 3
5 1/4 to 5 1/2 inches = Size 4
5 9/16 to 5 13/16 inches = Size 5
5 7/8 to 6 1/8 inches = Size 6
If your horse's hoof width is greater than the length from buttress to toe, then the Simple Boot may not be suitable for your horse.
