Shipping Times
Fast shipping is a high priority for us here at Adams. We like to get your order into your hands as efficiently as possible. In-stock items normally ship via UPS within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Items that weigh less than 2 lbs are typically shipped via USPS Priority Mail and can be expected to arrive within 2 to 3 days. Heavier items are shipped via UPS and will typically arrive in the following time frame:
- New England – overnight delivery
- Mid East Coast - (NY, NJ, PA, Northern Ohio, WV, Virginia, Maryland, etc) – 2 Business Days
- Central US - (Minnesota, Iowa, Eastern Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinoise, Indiana, Southern Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama) – 3 Business Days
- Midwest/South US - North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Eastern Colorado, Kansas, Western Missouri, Oklahoma, Northeastern Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Florida -4 Business Days
- Western US - Western North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Western Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada – 5 Business Days
- Parts of Idaho, California, Oregon – 6 Business Days
Shipping Costs
For items not designated as “free shipping”, we charge shipping costs based on actual charges from UPS or the postal service. Before you confirm your order, the shipping costs will be displayed. You may get an estimate of shipping costs by emailing us (adams@adamshorsesupplies.com) your shipping address and what you want to order; or you can go ahead and begin to place your order and our site will calculate shipping for you. You will have a chance to place or cancel the order at that point. Most horse supply orders over $100 are shipped free (via UPS Ground) to the lower 48 states. Excessively heavy items such as certain supplements, pet foods, etc, are unfortunately excluded from the free shipping offer.
Please note that customers are responsible for all brokerage fees and taxes for shipments to non-US destinations.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We ship all packages either by UPS or Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Once a package is scanned as delivered, we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you would prefer a signature confirmation, please request one at time of order placement. Otherwise, all claims for packages scanned as delivered and not received should be claimed with the shipping company. No refunds will be issued from us for packages scanned as delivered to the correct address. If theft is a problem, please request signature confirmation of your package on the check out form.
